Exterior Steps

The painters have taken over the interior so we've moved outside. The steps and porches are taking shape. Thankfully the sun has been shining.

Master Bathroom Shower

The master bathroom shower tile has been started. The bottom photo is the shower pan, sideways. There always has to be one sideways photo in a blog. :)

Great Room

Here is the view from the kitchen to the family room. There's a nice corner to tuck a kitchen table. The french doors in the kitchen add natural light to the space and give easy access to the deck.

Kitchen Details

The kitchen is completely trimmed out. As you can see, the crown moulding adds a nice detail to the raised portion of the kitchen ceiling. Here's a little peek into the mud room. A mud room is very important in the Puget Sound.

Trim Details

The beautiful details speak for themselves.

Handrail and Entry

The handrail to the new basement area has been installed. It looks great. There's no more wallpaper in the entry. It feels bigger in the entry. The only flooring exposed at the moment was in the Harry Potter closet under the stairs.

Bathrooms Ready for Paint

The master bath is ready for paint. The new clawfoot tub will be installed after the painters are done. The red bathroom will be painted a nice cream color. The new flooring in the main floor bathroom goes well with the existing bathtub and surround.

The New Bedroom Upstairs

The painters will take over most of the house on Monday so I snuck over to take a few photos.

The inside of the new bedroom closet is trimmed out. Its a nice detail. The sub floor in the bedroom has a unique marking, it looks just like a big "W".

Exterior Changes

There's a giant new house being built on the hill. You can see a peek a boo view out the master bedroom window.

The backyard has been leveled.

Custom Built Cabinets Take Shape

The custom built in cabinetry has a classic look. We can't wait to see it completed and finish painted.

Main Floor Window Trim

The windows in the dining room and living room have been trimmed.

A Mantel is Born

Different styles of cove moulding were tried before they (our lead and our production manager) found one that worked perfectly.

This set of built ins will be stunning when they are complete and finish painted.

Post and Pockets

The pocket doors from the masterbedroom to the master dressing area have been installed. The side porch has a finished detailed post now.
