Master Bathroom

The master bathroom earned high marks from our guests at the tour. They loved the separate vanities, the flooring and the claw foot bathtub. The heated towel rack was a big hit with the ladies. (not shown)

Master Bedroom

The view is breathtaking from the master bedroom. New hardwood flooring was installed upstairs. We "harvested" as much of the original flooring as possible. The harvested flooring was used downstairs to patch. The original french doors were refinished and utilized as pocket doors to the new master dressing room/walk in closet area.

Upstairs Rooms

Upstairs we installed a pocket door to the laundry room. The hall bathroom was painted. Both rooms recieved new flooring. One of the new rooms in the addition is a great office space/bedroom. Check out the angles in the ceiling. The new bedrooms have carpet flooring.

Main Floor Guest Room

The original hardwood floor shines in the guest bedroom. The tiny closet was a hit with guests.

Bright and Beautiful Kitchen

The kitchen is spacious and efficient. The tall ceiling is unique and adds interest to the room.

Custom Built Ins

Some glamour shots of our Lead Remodeler's beautiful craftsmanship.

The original door greets guests. The entry wallpaper was removed, lightening up the area. The original banister was cleaned and left in its original state. A new gas insert fireplace, built in cabinetry and a pair of new windows make a welcoming formal living room.

Finished Project!

The home was our Tour of Remodeled Homes project. We had to keep the finished project under wraps until after the tour. The project was very well received. Some of the comments most repeated were how welcoming the home is, the beauty and craftsmanship of the woodwork, the thoughtfulness of the architecture that mirrored the existing home, and the great layout of space. Every guest that visited left with ideas for their own home from Marmolium flooring to reusing original doors as pocket doors. York would like to thank our homeowners' for graciously allowing us to show their home. Enjoy the finished project photos!

More Upstairs Painting

Do you remember the upstairs, bright red bathroom? It is red no more! The second new bedroom is a calm, but cheery, yellow.
The neighbors, Ron and Harriet, stopped by to take a look and give their approval today.

Custom Built Ins

The glass in the built in cabinetry has been installed. The next step will be the lights.

Kitchen Backsplash

The kitchen backsplash is installed and finished. Just waiting for the electrical trim out and hood installation.

New Entry Look

The wallpaper came down. The walls were painted and the entry door and trim got a facelift too.

Main Floor Painting

The painting is being completed on the main floor. The trim stands out beautifully against the wall colors. Even the front entry door got a new coat of paint!

Kitchen Countertop Installation

The kitchen countertops were installed the last week of April. If you look closely you can see the tile backsplash starting to take shape.

Master Bath Fixtures

The clawfoot bathtub was installed in the master bath. The shower head was installed. The fixtures fit beautifully with the age of the home.
