New Interior Walls Take Shape

Upstairs the walls are taking shape.

Second floor demo

Look at all the new square footage. The new framing will be two bedrooms.

Not for the faint of heart...the demo begins!

The ceilings on the existing main floor have been removed. X marks the wall that will be removed. Check out the view behind the french doors. Great things are coming!!!

New Roof

The roof was installed today. Right on schedule. We're moving inside to frame new walls and doorways.

Setting the Second Floor Beams

The second story beams were set. Roof framing has begun.

The top photo shows the kitchen from the family room. The third photo shows the mud room and the corner of the kitchen that will have the sink. It's a nice view from the sink area.

Inside the main floor.

Its thrilling to stand "inside" of a home you have been seeing on paper so long. The basement stairs have taken shape. The middle photo is the view from the family room windows to the backyard. The top photo shows the opening for the french doors to the backyard.

Kitchen Sub Floor

We have a floor and an opening for the stairs to the basement! The garbage can in the second photo is in the kitchen to be.
